Maths Reflection

Today I did a reflection about what stage I am in, in maths. It is a short one, but I hope you enjoy it!

The Cultural Dances

In the last few weeks we have been learning about the dances of some cultures. Then in this week we were lucky enough to perform the dances that we've learn. The year 5's were doing the Samoan "Sasa", the year 4's and 6's have been doing the "Super Haka" and the "Te rakau". Also a special thanks to Ms. Bell for giving the idea and teaching the year 4's and 6's the dance.

The Moon

In the past three weeks we have been learning about the moon. Some about it's history, legends and some facts about it. Now this week we had to make a presentation about it. The information are really interesting you could learn some things that you didn't know yet. Anyway have a good day, bye!

W.A.L.T Subtract Negative Integers

This week we learnt a new method which is how to subtract negative integers. It could be hard, the first time that you learn it but it will be easy quickly. As always I hope you understand and learn this method so you can use it. But anyways I hope you have a good day, bye.

The Duatholon

Yesterday 30th of March, we had a Duatholon race. It was basically a race that includes bikes or scooters at the first part of the race. 

First of all, we needed to get our "wheels" and race on a zigzag path in the Hornby High court. Then we needed to follow the path a second time (for year 4 to 6).

Next we had to put the our "Wheels" back where we got them, fast.

Finally we, year 4 to 6, had to run around the Hornby Primary field twice.

(I came 4th on the year 6 boys race)

Any way, that was my experience of the Doutholon.

The Moon

In this post I'm talking about some facts for the moon. Last week we started a new topic called "The Man in the Moon" and we had to do many things like this one, this is just a taste of it. All of these are facts about the moon, like how far it was, what it's diameter and more. It was a bit challenging, but it's really fun. As always I hope, you learnt something, bye!

W.A.L.T - Add Positive and Negative Numbers

Last week we had to do a DLO for this strategy. It is about how to Add Positive and Negative Numbers. In this time my next step could be Subtracting Positive and Negative Numbers. It was really easy and I picked up really quick so I really recommend it. I really do not know if that would be the next. But as always have nice day!
