29th of November, finally after many days and weeks of planning and practical work we have come to the end of making our products. It was a tiring time as we made a lot in a limited time, making it harder than it should have been. Though our work has seemed to pay off, one of the reasons is because it turned out a bit better than we thought it would, maybe not all of the products, but most, which was fine with me and my group. We changed the original flavour of the panna cotta instead of vanilla, we chose for the final day of practical work, a mango cheese flavour; which is a turn towards what we originally thought about which is putting mozzarella cheese with the panna cotta. We also added cinnamon and mango puree to the synonym rolls which are now called cinnamon-synonym rolls; also we fried the cheese sticks and then baked them as well with even more cheese.
It was almost kind of perfect, however, we had this thought about making a mango shake but it didn't go as planned with it being too liquidy because we didn't use ice and also the mango didn't break enough so it became lumpy.
I wish we could've changed some bits, mainly the mango shake; by bringing ice and letting it blend more than it did.; Another thing is that the texture of the panna cotta with the grated cheese wasn't quite the best idea because it gave it that rough but then very soft texture which felt weird in the tongue.
Nonetheless, it exceeded our expectations, that goes to show, you don't know until you try!
