Who is Sir Peter Blake?

This week in Cybersmart we learnt about different researching tips. One of which is, if you want to define something you can use a technique where you can type "[define(the word you want)]". It's that easy. Then we learnt about stepping stones; where if you go from sites to sites to find further details but also making it as accurate as possible. Lastly, on we then had to take those tips that we've just learnt and research about a famous New Zealander named Sir Peter Blake and make a small biography about his life.

Here is the small biography:

Sir Blake has competed in the World Race (Whitbread races) held in Jules Verne; while in there he won the trophy, not only that but he set the fastest world record from 1994 to 1997. In his prime, he won many trophies and had successive triumph around America. After his career in sailing, he travelled to do an environmental exploration trip. He got intrigued by the places in South America, Brazil, to be more specific, in the Amazon. He monitored global warming and pollution for the United Nations. The expedition took 2 months until it, unfortunately, ended in the 5th of December 2001. It was reported that around 9pm in the "city of Amapa" a group of modern pirates near that area has noticed his water vehicle and attacked it. The group held guns and shot a crewmember on board of Sir Peter Blake's boat. Being the brave man he was, he took out a rifle and went in the deck to fight the pirates off. Unluckily he got shot in the hand in which he was holding his gun in, he dropped int and soon after he then got shot in the back which ended his legacy. He sadly left his family of 2 children and his wife by the age of 53.
