We've been leaning about animal adaptations and how does they help them to survive. I chose the venom of snakes for my adaptation. I have made a model about my adaptation. I hope you will learn something in it. Enjoy!!!!!!!
- The snakes that has venom have a special gland which produce venom, for them its only a saliva but for us is a deadly liquid.
- They uses their fangs to inject their venom, they have a protective sheath which they keep their teeth in.
- Some of species spit their venom to their predators eyes which cause them to be blind.
- Some of the venomous snakes that are Mojave Rattlesnake, King Cobra, Black Mamba and some more types of venomous snakes has a venom which is a Neurotoxin, means that when injected venom destroys their tissue which cause them to die. But some of them have a different kinds of Neurotoxin which can be more dangerous or less dangerous.
- There is a snake that is the Mojave Rattlesnake that can have a type A or a type B venom the type A is a Neurotoxin.
- While the type B is a Hemotoxin which destroys red blood cells and some small tissues in the body.
- One more, most of the people thinks that venom and poison are the same but no, poison needs to be eaten, smelled or absorbed. While venom needs to be injected.
Hi Axle, that is an amazing model of a Snake Venom. I really liked your facts and your model of a Snake Venom. I think you should not use too many facts or you should use bullet points in your facts.
ReplyDeleteHey Axle I really like your clay model and I learn more about snakes and I like the close up of the fangs and that you put a thinglink on your clay model and you put a lot of facts. But you should put a thinglink on the teeth, but anyways it's cool.
